Ruschèda Canyon is a hidden treasure of Ticino, one of the region’s best-kept secrets. The adventure begins in a typical mountain hamlet, where a scenic trail leads you through a peaceful valley and a mysterious forest, far from the hustle and bustle. Gradually, a rocky gorge reveals itself, bathed in sunlight and lined with natural waterfalls.

 

From there, it’s time to dive in! Natural slides, rappels, swims in crystal-clear pools, and for the more daring, spectacular (but always optional) jumps. All around, a wild, dense forest surrounds the canyon, enhancing its unique and timeless character.

 

Ruschèda Canyon is an authentic escape for those who venture in—an unforgettable experience to share with friends, family, or as part of a team event.

Adventure Flow

REQUIRED

  • Basic fitness level

  • Basic swimming ability

  • Surefooted and confident on uneven terrain

  • Comfortable with heights (to a limited degree)

  • Minimum age : 8 years old

We welcome you to our cozy canyoning base in Claro, equipped with secure lockers for your belongings and a bathroom with WC and shower. Your guide will then provide you with top-quality canyoning gear, combining safety, comfort, and style.
 
After a short 20 minute bus ride, an enchanting 30 minute walk through the forest will take you to the canyon’s summit. Once there, your guide will take the time to go over safety instructions and demonstrate the various techniques for progression. Then, it’s time for two hours of adventure: natural slides, optional jumps, and rappelling, all set in a stunning and sunlit environment. A gentle 20 minute walk through the forest wraps up the adventure and takes you back to the bus.

Back at the base, we’ll gather for a relaxed aperitif on our cosy terrace, where you can relive the highlights of the experience and download the photos from your EPIC descent ! The entire experience lasts about 4 hours, from your arrival at the base to the aperitif. However, the duration may vary depending on the group size and local conditions.​

In case of weather conditions that could compromise safety, we reserve the right to modify, cancel, or postpone the outing. Should this happen, we will inform you as soon as possible.​
